Hello everyone Capt. Vinnie here, this weeks report starting out we have been having lots and lots of heavy tide as of late and the seaweed is still an issue but we are trying our best to make it happen for all of our great customers. Starting off on the inshore side of things trolling in the mornings has been somewhat productive when the seaweed is behaving, trolling planners has been productive while using small spoons for bait has been the ticket, plenty of bonito around with a few kingfish in the mix. On our longer trips like 6 to 8 hours anchoring up on the reef has been the most productive fishing we have been doing as of late, anchoring in depths of 50 to 80 feet of water and chumming heavy has been the best option, good size yellowtail snapper have been the majority of the catch, also a few larger mutton snapper in the mix caught while using live bait. On the offshore side of things there has been some blackfin tuna in the early mornings and late afternoons trolling has been the best bet for them, still small feathers and squid imitation lures are the best bet for these guys, there also has been a few mahi mahi offshore around 10 to 12 miles offshore, finding birds and floating debris is always what we like to say money in the bank but easier said then done. There are still lots of options of things to fish for and things to catch I would imagine we would see some great mahi mahi action in the next few weeks so be on the look out for that report, anyways be sure to check out some of the pictures this week of some great catches during our deep sea fishing charters and remember to follow us on social media platforms like Facebook and instagram @Ybnormalsportfishing for daily fishing content.
