Hello everyone Capt. Vinnie here, this weeks report has had some great fishing with lots of variety just like the title says so lets get to it. This week we have had some great weather in Fort Lauderdale calm seas and light winds and higher temps which makes it very comfortable for some deep sea fishing. Lets start offshore just outside the reef we have been starting to see some blackfin tuna anywhere from depths deeper then 300 feet is where we have been finding these guys smaller lures like spoons and feathers have been the best bet and fishing them further back behind the boat has been the most productive. Moving inshore just to the edge off the reef there has been plenty of kingfish as well as Spanish mackeral, trolling with planers using seawitches and bonito strips is a great way to target these fish, but live bait has been best. Also a few mahi mahi around chasing live bait in shallower and there has also been sailfish inshore as well. Bottom fishing this week has been excellent for snapper, anchoring up on deeper reefs and chumming has been very productive for yellowtail snapper keep in mind you need to have a 6 or an 8 hour charter in order to do this type of fishing, all in all this week has had some great fishing and even greater weather. Be sure to check out our pictures this week of some great catches caught during our deep sea fishing charters. Coming up we do has some availability so if your looking to do some deep sea fishing please check out us. It makes a great holiday gift for someone.
