Hello everyone Capt. Vinnie here, we have a good report this week as we get into the month of September, fishing this week has been very good with a nice variety of fish being caught, lets start out on the reef this week where there has been a very good kingfish bite in the early mornings as well as some blackfin tuna and the occasional wahoo, most of the action is taking place just outside the reef in depths of 100-250 feet. Fishing planers to take lines deep under the water has had the most success with seawitches and bonito strips also this week there has been quite a few sailfish around which is unusual for this time of year but always a great surprise!! Dolphin or mahi mahi have been around but also hit and miss if you can find some type of debris floating you will most likely find the mother load. As Far as night fishing goes it has been steady with good catches of mangrove snapper and yellowtail plenty of sharks to catch at night as well if you looking for a fight. We have some great photos this week of some recent catches during some deep sea fishing charters, we caught a beautiful sailfish this week during a tournament as well as a bunch of kingfish and blackfin tuna. we also have a great photo of a giant barracuda we caught also, in my opinion one of the coolest looking fish we catch with giant teeth. Some good fishing this week with lots of different species, we have some availability this week if your in Fort Lauderdale and looking to get out fishing the weather looks great!! Hope to see you soon! Tight lines!!
